I believe that many of our conventional approaches are no longer sufficiently effective, as they tend to emphasise punishment and reaction rather than prevention and early intervention. As rising concerns surrounding student discipline and mental well-being are increasingly brought to the forefront of public discourse, particularly through the internet and social media, the need for a more proactive and accessible support system has become increasingly apparent. As a young person representing the perspective of students, I am taking the initiative to address these challenges through VoxEdu — not merely as a reporting platform, but as an effort to foster meaningful communication, encourage early intervention, and cultivate a safer, more conducive and supportive environment for both students and educators.
